Digital Recording Studio
 We're more than halfway—$50,000 out of $90,000—to fully funding a state-of-the-art music lab and digital recording studio at CCHS.
It will offer every student with an interest in music, academic or recreational, the chance to experience a professional, multitrack recording system:
- Two, fully-equipped rooms with capacity to record 24 and mix up to 128 tracks digitally
- Setup designed around industry standard ProTools HD
- Skills developed will be transferable to professional recording and engineering endeavors
- Resulting recordings will offer professional quality demo tapes and CDs for auditions, personal use, and fund-raising
- K-8 musicians will be able to make recordings, too
Important Notes:
- Portability: Recording equipment and furniture can be moved to new locations after any CCHS renovation or reconstruction.
- Security: The recording areas (lab and control room) will be secured with electronic locks that require access codes.
