The grant will fund an extension of the successful 2008 CEF Grant, “Photo Essays”. The sponsor proposes purchasing an additional fourteen (14) digital cameras to add to the ten (10) received through last years grant proposal so to provide an entire class with cameras. The sponsor is proposing new curriculum for the Alcott 4th and 5th Graders by proposing the integration of Art, Technology, and Language Arts through the creation of books which combine digital photography and creative writing.
The Sponsor would like to purchase (14) Canon PowerShot cameras, (14) 2GB Memory Cards, (28) Lithium Batteries, and (14) Plastic Camera Cases.
