3D Ceramics Printer
CCHS ceramic and sculpture students take advantage of 3D ceramic printing for new forms of creative expression
The 3D PotterBot is a new, affordable 3D ceramic printer that gives CCHS students taking studio art a new avenue for creative expression. Ceramic students compare wheel-based creations with objects designed and printed using ceramic printing. Ceramic and sculpture students learn how to exploit the 3D tool’s possibilities and limitations as they seek to design objects that take advantage of its unique forming process. And 3D Graphics students learn the basics of printing and working in clay.
Numerous pieces created with the 3D ceramic printer are featured in the Annual Art Exhibition at Concord Art and CCHS Art is continually updated on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/cchs_ceramic_printer/.
