Skate In School
Inline skating – or roller blading – helps elementary students develop athleticism, expend energy and have fun!
CEF funding secured roller blades and associated protective gear at a special rate from Skate-in-School, a program that is at the forefront of the ‘New PE’ initiatives that boost youth fitness and self-esteem. Inline skating is great exercise, increasing students’ cardiovascular endurance, balance, and strength. But it’s also a lot of fun, teaching kids that physical activity is something to enjoy in school, after school, and for the rest of their lives.
